Overview
The Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back Exhaust System is engineered specifically for the 2005-2012 Toyota Tacoma equipped with the 4.0L engine. Built to bolt on where your factory exhaust ends, this complete cat-back kit replaces the restrictive stock piping with a free-flowing, performance-tuned system that delivers real gains in horsepower and torque while giving your Tacoma the unmistakable Flowmaster voice.
Every component is constructed entirely from 409S stainless steel for long-lasting durability against heat, road spray, and corrosion. The 2.50-inch tubing is mandrel bent to maintain consistent diameter through every curve, keeping exhaust velocity high and flow smooth from the catalytic converter all the way back to the tips.
How the System Flows
The system connects to the back of the factory catalytic converter assembly using the supplied flanged inlet pipe, then routes exhaust into a Super 50 Series performance muffler. From there it splits into dual 2.50-inch stainless steel tailpipes that exit on both sides of the vehicle behind the rear tires. Each side is finished with a large 3.00-inch polished stainless tip embossed with the Flowmaster logo, adding an aggressive, purposeful look to the rear of the truck.
