The Flowmaster Flow FX Extreme Cat-Back Exhaust System is engineered to transform the breathing, sound, and off-road capability of the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra equipped with the 4.7 or 5.7-liter engine. Built around a Flow FX series muffler and 3.00-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, this cat-back system delivers an aggressive-to-moderate exhaust note and improved flow over the restrictive factory setup, all while retaining the durability Flowmaster is known for.
What sets this Extreme configuration apart is its turndown-style dump exit positioned right after the muffler. By eliminating the over-axle tailpipe entirely, the system frees up valuable ground clearance and improves your Tundra’s departure angle—a real advantage when the trail gets steep and the situations get extreme.
Performance & Sound
The Flow FX muffler is tuned for an aggressive sound level that stays civilized enough for daily driving, giving your Tundra a deeper, more purposeful voice under throttle. On the dyno, this system produced maximum gains of 5 horsepower and 6 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels, backing up the improved sound with measurable rear-wheel performance. The 3.00-inch mandrel-bent tubing maintains a smooth, consistent diameter through every bend for maximum exhaust flow.
Construction & Durability
Every component is crafted from 409 stainless steel in a clean silver finish, from the mandrel-bent tubing to the Flow FX muffler itself. The muffler measures 48.00 inches in overall length with a 3.00-inch center outlet, and the system runs a single tail pipe configuration in its turndown, dump-exit design. This stainless construction is built to stand up to the heat, moisture, and abuse of both street and off-road use.
