Built from heavy 16-gauge mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, this cat-back system is designed for durability and maximum performance, delivering a deep, muscular sound outside the vehicle while keeping the interior tone moderate enough to hold a conversation from behind the wheel.
At the heart of the system is a Super 50 Series performance muffler (part number 530562), tuned to strike that ideal balance between an aggressive exterior sound and a comfortable, moderate interior tone. Paired with a 3.00-inch inlet and dual tailpipe design, the American Thunder system brings both attitude and everyday livability to your truck.

Every component is built to work together right out of the box. The dual 2.50-inch tailpipes are routed to clear the factory spare tire and give you a real choice in how your exhaust exits. Run it straight out the back for a true dual look, or route it to exit out each side behind the rear wheels — a configuration that’s ideal for towing. The system is finished with a pair of 3.00-inch diameter, highly polished 304 stainless steel tips embossed with the Flowmaster name for a clean, unmistakable look.

Designed for a straightforward fit, the American Thunder system includes all necessary parts, hardware and instructions for an installation you can complete at home. The muffler is included, so there’s no guesswork sourcing additional components. Note that a heat shield is not included with this system.
Fitment
This system is designed for 4WD applications and fits Crew cab/short bed models. It is CARB compliant, making it a smart choice for emissions-conscious states. Please note the California Proposition 65 warning applies to this product.
