Built as part of the proven American Thunder series, this stainless steel cat-back system replaces restrictive factory piping with free-flowing, mandrel-bent tubing and a high-performance muffler for a noticeable improvement you can feel and hear.
At the heart of the system is a 50 Series HD performance muffler, fed by 16-gauge mandrel-bent 3.00-inch stainless steel tubing. The mandrel bends maintain a smooth, consistent inner diameter throughout the exhaust path, promoting better exhaust flow and helping your engine breathe more efficiently. The result is a moderate tone both inside and outside the cab — aggressive enough to announce your truck’s presence, yet civil enough for daily driving and long hauls.

Two Exit Configurations
Versatility is built in. The system comes with two sets of tailpipe exits, giving you the choice of either straight-out the back under the bumper or out the sides behind the rear wheels. The side-exit option is ideal for towing applications, keeping exhaust routing clear of trailers and hitches. Whichever setup you prefer, the tailpipes use the factory hanger locations for a straightforward, no-cut installation.
Fitment
This cat-back system fits 2003-2012 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 equipped with the 5.7L Hemi engine, and also fits 2005-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 MegaCab with the 5.7L engine. It is designed for 2WD applications. The dual tailpipe design bolts up to the factory hangers, so most installations can be completed with basic hand tools.
