The Flowmaster Outlaw Extreme Cat-Back Exhaust System is engineered for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma equipped with the 3.5L engine. Built around Flowmaster’s aggressive Outlaw series muffler, this stainless steel cat-back is designed to deliver a deep, powerful tone and increased performance while standing up to the demands of daily driving and serious off-road use. If you want your Tacoma to sound as capable as it looks, the Outlaw Extreme brings the attitude.
At the heart of the system is 3.0-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing. Mandrel bends preserve full pipe diameter through every curve, promoting maximum exhaust flow, while the 409 stainless construction adds long-term durability and corrosion resistance. The included Outlaw series muffler features a center inlet and 3.00-inch center outlet across a 42.70-inch overall length, tuned for that unmistakable aggressive Flowmaster sound.
Built for Off-Road Clearance
What sets the Outlaw Extreme apart is its turndown-style dump exit positioned right after the muffler. By eliminating the traditional over-axle tailpipe, this design improves ground clearance and departure angle—exactly what you want when the trail gets rough and every inch of clearance counts. This is a complete kit that uses factory-mounting locations and includes all of the necessary hardware for a straightforward installation. Because it hangs from the existing factory hangers, you can bolt it on without cutting or fabricating custom mounts. The system arrives with a silver muffler and silver pipe finish for a clean, functional look under the truck.

Note that exhaust tips are sold separately, giving you the flexibility to finish the exit exactly how you want. The kit is backed by Flowmaster’s Lifetime Limited Warranty.
