Constructed from full 304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent piping, this system pairs large mufflers with dual 4.5-inch double-wall tips finished in a black exhaust tip color for a distinctive, aggressive look at the rear of your S-550 Mustang.
Mishimoto designed this axle-back exhaust to deliver a sound that’s less aggressive under light and heavy acceleration than a typical performance system, while its large mufflers only slightly amplify exhaust tone compared to the factory setup, so you get little to no highway drone during everyday driving. The TIG-welded, cut-and-clamp design mates easily to your stock exhaust piping, and because it’s fully compatible with the stock center resonator, Mishimoto X-Pipe, Mishimoto H-Pipe, or other aftermarket mid-pipes, this axle-back can serve as the foundation of a larger exhaust upgrade or stand on its own.
