The Mishimoto MMAI-JLH-18SDW is a purpose-built performance intake designed specifically for the turbocharged 2.0L Hurricane engine in the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL. Built around a precision-engineered, rotational-molded intake tube with dyno-tested resonators and a custom air filter, this cold air intake is engineered to let a turbocharged 2.0L pull in more air without sacrificing drivability or triggering check engine lights.
A turbocharger can only make power with as much air as the intake can supply, and this air intake system is designed to close that gap. The smoother rotational-molded tube and larger filter allow this cold air intake filter setup to flow up to 39-percent better than the factory intake, letting the turbo pull in more air that, combined with tuning, can translate into more usable power. The integrated resonator was tuned on the dyno to keep that extra flow working in the most useful RPM range rather than just adding noise, and the intake retains the stock lower airbox and factory mounting points so installation stays straightforward.
