The BBK 78mm Pentastar throttle body is an easy way to improve horsepower, torque and throttle response from your 3.6L V6 powered 2012-2023 Dodge Charger, Challenger or Chrysler 300. Also fits 2012-2016 Jeep Wrangler 3.6L V6.
The 3.6L Pentastar engine already offers great performance for a V6 but bolting on this BBK throttle body is one of the easiest upgrades you can make. This 78mm throttle body offers a 35% increase in airflow potential over the 73mm stock throttle body.
Easy Installation
This throttle body bolts on easily with basic hand tools. BBK V6 Dodge throttle bodies work with OEM air intakes and aftermarket cold air intakes to ensure perfect fit and excellent performance.
You simply swap your stock throttle body for the BBK throttle body and perform the simple throttle pedal relearn process outlined in the instructions. This can typically be completed in under 30 minutes.
Quality Construction
BBK 3.6L Pentastar throttle bodies are CNC machined from high quality 356 aluminum castings to ensure perfect quality. Features new electronic controlled injection molded plastic gear assemblies for modern drive by wire applications.
This throttle body comes complete with all hardware gaskets and instructions for an easy install right out of the box.
Tuning
BBK engineers have designed these electronic throttle control performance throttle bodies to work in most cases with a factory tune, however depending on other modifications and ECM sensitivity on your specific application a tune is sometimes recommended.
This is true with most other brand aftermarket performance throttle bodies as well. While it’s not normally required, a tune will not only allow the vehicle to work with certain aftermarket bolt-ons but will also improve overall performance of your entire array of upgrades to work together as a whole.
