Description

Overview

The Flowmaster Catalytic Converter-Universal-200 Series is a compact, high-quality round converter engineered to bolt into a wide range of universal exhaust applications. Built with a spun stainless steel outer casing measuring just 4.00 inches in diameter by 8.00 inches long, it slips into tight chassis spaces where a bulky factory unit simply won’t fit. With 2.00-inch inlet and outlet connections and a slip-fit weld-on design, it’s a versatile choice for builders who want dependable flow and Flowmaster quality in one package.

What Does a Catalytic Converter Do?

If you’ve ever asked what a catalytic converter does, the answer is simple: this 3-Way converter uses a metallic substrate to help convert harmful exhaust gases into cleaner emissions as they pass through the housing. Understanding what catalytic converters do matters when planning a catalytic converter replacement, and this unit delivers a proven, high-flow solution. The High Flow 200 Cell Metallic Substrate is designed specifically for severe-duty, high-temperature service, making it ideal for demanding builds and hard-driven applications.

Key Benefits

Whether you’re weighing catalytic converter price against long-term durability, or figuring out the cost to change a catalytic converter on a custom project, this Flowmaster unit is a smart, straightforward option for any catalytic converter repair or fresh installation. It’s an excellent “green” solution for vintage hot rods or vehicles that never came equipped with a converter from the factory.
