This programmer is designed for Chevrolet and GMC 6.6 diesel trucks. It carries Emission Code 7 and is not 50 State Legal and not CARB (California) compliant, so verify local requirements before installation. A California Proposition 65 warning applies. Note that custom tuning is not supported and the device does not accept custom tunes from CMR.
Important gear-change note: When physically changing ring and pinion gears in late-model GM trucks, the factory cruise control will be disabled. This programmer will allow you to recalibrate the speedometer for that gear change, but it will not re-activate the disabled cruise control system. GM laces this feature into the engine calibration files, and re-enabling cruise would require full ECM tuning.
