The Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust System Kit is a complete crossmember-back, true dual exhaust system engineered for classic Chevrolet and Pontiac muscle running the 302, 326, 327, 350, 396, or 400 engine. Every component is manufactured with an easy fit in mind. The 2.50-inch tubing feeds into a pair of Super 44 Series mufflers (muffler part number 942546), then exits through dual 2.50-inch tailpipes in the factory location behind the rear wheels, pointing down just below the quarter panel.

This kit ships complete with all necessary parts, hardware, and instructions for a straightforward install. Mufflers are included; exhaust tips are sold separately, and a heat shield is not included. Fitment
Designed for 2WD 1967-1968 Camaro and Firebird models equipped with the listed Chevrolet and Pontiac engines. For convertibles, fitment is achieved by spacing down the factory convertible body brace by approximately .375-inch, or by replacing the factory body brace with a Hotchkis Performance body brace (part #1404). With Emission Code 5 and CARB compliance, this Flowmaster exhaust system pairs legendary sound with a bolt-on, easy-fit design.
