The Flowmaster® Dodge (3.9, 5.2, 5.9) Exhaust System Kit is a complete American Thunder® cat-back exhaust system engineered for 1998-2001 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with 3.9L, 5.2L or 5.9L engines, as well as 1998-2002 Ram 2500/3500 trucks running the 5.9L engine. Built to deliver a purposeful, deep tone while remaining livable on the highway, this catback exhaust upgrade brings a proven performance exhaust setup to your truck without sacrificing everyday drivability.
At the heart of the system is Flowmaster’s 70 Series Big Block II™ performance muffler (part number 53070), which produces a deep, mellow sound with minimal interior resonance. Two adapter pipes feed directly into the muffler, and a single 3.00-inch mandrel-bent tailpipe carries flow rearward for a smooth, unrestricted path. Together, these components make the transition from a restrictive factory car exhaust to a fuller, more aggressive Flowmaster voice.
