The new rotors have a 170-degree high-twist lobe design with bigger bearings and beefier timing gears for unparalleled efficiency and OEM-like reliability. Like other superchargers in the Edelbrock line, this system is designed to fit under the stock hood with no cutting or modifications required. A self-contained oiling system keeps maintenance to a minimum with a service interval of 100,000 miles. The significant increase in horsepower and torque comes with minimal loss in fuel economy thanks to the system’s integrated bypass valve that mitigates parasitic power loss during normal driving conditions. This new Edelbrock supercharger kit requires no internal modifications to the engine. For higher power demands, the R2650 supercharger can support 1,000-plus horsepower at the flywheel with the right combination of parts.
