The Flowmaster 80 Series Chambered Muffler is a crossflow-design muffler built for applications where the muffler mounts transversely behind the rear end. Its inlet sits next to one of the outlets on the same side of the case, making it an ideal solution for late-model muscle cars running a transverse exhaust layout. This is a universal-fit muffler with a 2.50-inch inlet diameter and dual, transverse outlets, engineered specifically for the crossflow, behind-the-rear-end mounting position. Because the inlet is positioned next to one of the outlets on the same side of the case, it’s purpose-built for vehicles that use a transverse muffler layout. It’s an excellent match for late-model muscle car applications like Camaros and Firebirds.
Please note that this muffler uses new hangers, which are not included, and exhaust tips are sold separately. This allows you to tailor the installation and finishing touches to your specific build and preferences.
