The Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-back Exhaust System is engineered for Jeep owners who want serious performance sound, reduced weight, and improved ground clearance without complicated fabrication. Purpose-built for the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL, this axle-back system replaces the restrictive factory transverse muffler with a smarter, lighter design that tucks the tailpipe up high and out of harm’s way on the trail.
At the heart of the system is a 2.50-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tailpipe, capped with a 3.00-inch polished 304 stainless steel tip. The mandrel bends keep exhaust flow smooth and consistent, while the silver stainless construction stands up to the heat, moisture, and abuse that come with daily driving and off-road adventure alike. The tip features no logo, delivering a clean, understated look that complements any build.

Fitment
This system is designed for both 2-door and 4-door Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with the 2.0L Turbo or the 3.6L engine. It mounts using the factory hangers for a precise, no-guesswork fit, and includes all necessary parts and hardware. Because the design tucks the tailpipe up high to maximize clearance, an aftermarket metal bumper is generally recommended to complement the routing. This system is CARB (California) compliant.
