The Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back Exhaust System is engineered for the driver who wants a bold, aggressive exterior tone paired with a moderate interior sound that won’t wear you out on long hauls. Built from heavy 16-gauge mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, this system is designed to deliver lasting durability and maximum performance while giving your truck the deep, purposeful note that Flowmaster is known for.
At the heart of the system is the included 70 Series Big Block II performance muffler, tuned to strike the perfect balance between a deep, aggressive sound outside the cab and a comfortable, moderate tone inside. That means you get the attitude you want at the pedal without the drone that drives you out of the cab when you’re trying to hold a conversation.

With a 3.00-inch inlet feeding into dual 2.50-inch tailpipes, this cat-back system is built to breathe. The dual tailpipe design clears the factory spare tire and gives you two choices of exit locations to suit how you use your truck. Route the pipes straight out the back for that true dual look, or exit out each side behind the rear wheels — an ideal configuration for towing.
The system is finished off with a pair of highly polished 304 stainless steel tips embossed with the Flowmaster name, adding a premium visual touch that matches the sound. U-Bolt clamping and all necessary hardware are included for a straightforward, at-home installation.

This American Thunder system ships as a complete kit — muffler included — with everything you need to complete the job in your own garage. The 3.00-inch inlet, dual muffler inlet location and dual tailpipe layout are matched to give you flexibility in exit routing without additional guesswork.
Fitment applies to 2/4 wheel drive models with a standard cab / short bed configuration on a 117-inch wheelbase. The system is CARB (California) compliant with Emission Code 5, so it’s a legal upgrade in emissions-controlled states. Please note the California Proposition 65 warning associated with this product.
