The Flowmaster American Thunder Crossmember-Back Exhaust System is a complete true dual exhaust engineered for the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird equipped with a V8 engine. Built for the enthusiast who wants their performance heard, this American Thunder® system replaces your factory exhaust from the crossmember back with high-flow, mandrel-bent tubing and a matched pair of Super 44® mufflers for a bold, unmistakable presence on the street.
At the heart of the system is 2.50-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, designed to preserve smooth flow through every bend for maximum performance. A built-in H-pipe/balance tube ties both banks together and feeds into dual Super 44 Series mufflers, delivering a moderate to aggressive tone inside and outside the cabin. The 2.50-inch tailpipes exit straight out under the rear bumper and are finished with 2.50-inch angle-cut, brushed stainless steel tips for a clean, purposeful look.

Fitment
This system is designed for 2WD 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models with a V8 engine. It fits Convertible models without modification to the factory X-brace; you will simply need to shim the brace with 3/8-inch of spacers, or replace the factory X-brace with the Hotchkis Suspension X-brace (part# 1404). Please note this product carries a California Proposition 65 warning.
