The Flowmaster Flow FX Axle-Back Exhaust System is engineered to give your Mustang a deeper, more aggressive voice without the drone or complexity of a full exhaust overhaul. Designed specifically for 2011-2012 Ford Mustang GT coupes and convertibles equipped with the 5.0L engine, this axle-back system replaces the restrictive factory components with performance-minded tubing, straight-through mufflers, and bold ceramic-coated tips. It also fits the 2012 Mustang Boss 302, making it a versatile upgrade for 5.0L enthusiasts.
At the heart of the system is 3.00-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing that feeds into a pair of compact, round Flow FX “straight-through” mufflers. This straight-through design delivers a deep and powerful tone while maintaining a moderate sound level that stays livable for daily driving. The large 3.00-inch core mufflers are built for maximum flow and constructed from bright 409S stainless steel for lasting durability under real-world conditions.

The muffler features a center inlet and center outlet with a 3.00-inch outlet diameter and a 35.50-inch overall length. Note that a heat shield is not included, and the kit is offered as a complete axle-back system (muffler part number: kit only).
