Overview
The Flowmaster Flow FX Cat-back Exhaust System is a bolt-on performance upgrade engineered for the 2017-2024 Nissan Titan equipped with the 5.6L engine. Designed to replace the restrictive factory piping from the cat pipes back, this complete system pairs large-diameter mandrel-bent tubing with Flowmaster’s proven straight-through muffler technology to unlock stronger airflow, a more aggressive sound, and real-world gains where it matters most.
The system bolts up to the factory cat pipes using dual 2.5-inch mandrel-bent tubing that flows into Flowmaster’s exclusive Scavenger Series Y-pipe. Unlike conventional Y-pipes that simply join two round pipes, the Scavenger Y-pipe uses two D-shaped ports placed back to back, creating a larger surface area and a stronger exhaust signal. The result is a more powerful scavenging effect that helps evacuate the cylinders during the exhaust stroke, netting additional power and torque — a benefit that’s especially valuable when towing and hauling.
Sound & Flow
From the Scavenger Series collector, exhaust gases move into 3-inch stainless steel tubing and the straight-through Flow FX muffler. This design delivers a very deep, powerful tone outside the vehicle while keeping a moderate, comfortable sound inside the cab, so you get an aggressive exhaust note without droning through every drive. The mandrel-bent tailpipe exits behind the passenger-side rear tire and is finished with a large 4.50-inch black ceramic-coated tip embossed with the Flowmaster name for a bold, purposeful look.

Installation & Fitment
The Flow FX system is built for a straightforward, bolt-on installation. It utilizes the factory hanger locations and connections, and includes all necessary parts, hardware, and detailed instructions to make the job easier. Because it mounts to the existing hangers and cat pipes, you can restore proper alignment and clearance without cutting or fabrication.
