The Flowmaster Flow FX Cat-Back Exhaust System is a complete, bolt-on upgrade engineered to unlock better flow, a deeper exhaust note, and a cleaner look for your Dodge Ram. Built for 2003-2012 Dodge Ram/RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks, as well as 2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab trucks equipped with the 5.7L Hemi engine, this system replaces the restrictive factory pipe with a free-flowing, performance-minded design that carries the Flow FX name on both the exhaust and the muffler.
Everything starts with a large 3-inch mandrel-bent tube that feeds into the Flow FX “straight-through” performance muffler. The mandrel bends preserve the diameter through every curve for smooth, unrestricted flow, while the straight-through muffler design delivers the moderate, refined sound level Flowmaster is known for. The result is a deep, powerful tone outside the vehicle paired with a comfortable, moderate note inside the cab.
Sound & Style
This single tailpipe configuration is mandrel-bent to exit behind the passenger side rear tire and is finished with a large 4.50-inch black ceramic coated exhaust tip embossed with the Flowmaster name. The silver muffler and silver pipe finish, combined with the black ceramic tip, give the system a purposeful, high-quality appearance that stands out at the rear of the truck.
