Overview
The Flowmaster Force II Cat-back Exhaust System is a bolt-on, emissions-legal upgrade engineered for 2007*-2013 GM Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks with the 5.3L engine (*not classic body). Built to breathe better and sound the part, this complete cat-back kit replaces the restrictive factory piping with 3.00-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing that flows smoothly into the proven Super 50 Series muffler, delivering the deep, confident presence Flowmaster is known for.
Sound & Performance
The heart of the system is the Super 50 Series muffler, tuned for a mild interior tone that keeps cab drone in check while producing a deep, moderate sound level outside the truck. It’s the ideal balance for daily driving, work, and towing — aggressive when you want it, comfortable when you don’t. The mandrel-bent design maintains a consistent 3.00-inch diameter through the bends to keep exhaust flowing freely.
Configurable Exit Options
Dual 2.50-inch mandrel-bent stainless steel tailpipes mount to the factory hanger locations for a clean, precise fit, and you can choose the exit location that suits your build. Route the pipes straight out the back under the bumper for a muscular, purposeful look, or exit them out behind the rear tires on each side of the truck. The side-exit configuration is the ideal choice when towing a boat or RV, keeping the exhaust clear of your trailer. Both setups are finished with large 3.00-inch polished dual-wall stainless steel tips for a premium appearance.
Fitment
This Force II system fits all 2007*-2008 (*except classic body) GM 1500 4.8L and 5.3L 2/4 wheel drives (except Extended Cab with 8-ft bed), and all 2009-2013 GM 1500 5.3L Extended Cab with 6.5-ft bed and Crew Cabs with 5.5-ft bed only. It is CARB (California) compliant with Emission Code 5, making it a legal choice in all 50 states. Note: California Proposition 65 warning applies.
