The Flowmaster Scavenger Series Elite Header is a long tube header engineered to unlock the full breathing potential of your Chevrolet Small Block Gen I. Engineering & Construction
Each header is constructed from 16-gauge tubing with a 16-gauge tube wall thickness for lasting strength. The 1-5/8 inch primary tubes route into a 3.00 inch collector, and unequal length tube design helps optimize exhaust scavenging across the powerband. The ceramic-coated finish in silver not only gives a clean, high-performance appearance but also stands up to the demands of an active exhaust system. A robust 3/8 inch flange thickness with round inlet ports provides a solid, flanged attachment to the cylinder head.

Fitment
This header fits D port cylinder heads, including ZZ4 crate engines, and will fit most angle plug heads including factory Chevrolet bow tie heads. Please note it does not fit 1967-1969 Camaros with air conditioning. Installation requires removal or modification of locking steering columns if equipped, and a new left side air conditioning bracket is needed. Bolt size is 3/8-16 x 1, and all necessary bolts and studs are included along with the collector and reducers to make installation straightforward.

This product is not CARB (California) compliant and carries an emission code of 3. It is legal only for off-highway use except in California or states that have adopted California emission standards, racing use, or for use on pre-emission controlled motor vehicles and engines and pre-1966 domestic vehicles certified to California standards, pre-1968 domestic vehicles certified to federal standards, and all pre-1968 foreign vehicles, per the application guide. Warning: California Proposition 65 applies.
