Description
The K&N 69-8605TS Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. This system replaces the factory air filter and air intake housing, allowing for improved air intake efficiency.
By utilizing the K&N Typhoon cold-air intake, your engine can pull in cooler air, which helps to enhance the overall air flow. This system features a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that is strategically mounted near the driver side wheel well. The design directs cooler outside air through the aluminum intake tube, delivering high volumes of clean air into the engine’s throttle body. The oversized cone-shaped air filter is equipped with a black water repellent DryCharger filter wrap, providing added protection from moisture. The air filter is washable and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. Installation of the cold air intake system is relatively straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less.
