Constructed with 100% polyurethane on this unique oval cylinder design, this high-flow, oiled OE replacement performance filter has outflowed the stock filter by up to 19% for improved horsepower and torque. The Pro 5R air filter uses five layers of progressively finer mesh oiled cotton gauze media with a built-in reinforced metal, to provide maximum performance airflow & strength to prevent filter collapse. Evenly spaced rounded pleats provide excellent dust holding capacity for a longer service cycle between cleanings. An integrated polyurethane bump seal insures a tight, no leak seal over the life of the filter.
Pro 5R Media:
This filter features 5-layers of progressive, finer mesh oiled cotton gauze media with a built-in reinforced metal to provide maximum flow with excellent filtration. The air filter is wrapped in reinforced metal providing maximum strength to prevent filter collapse. The progressive layering of media allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. The Pro 5R filter media has been tested at 98.6% efficient.
Rounded Open Pleats:
aFe performance air filters use a rounded pleat design, which produces more useable filter surface area for increased flow and greater dust holding capacity.
Progressive Bump Seal:
This pliable sealing surface conforms to even the most uneven filter housing. This design eliminates the use of gaskets or sealants. The soft polyurethane construction always goes back to it’s original form so you will never compress the bump seal. This makes for a perfect filter fit and sealing surface every time.
Full Polyurethane Framed Construction:
aFe Power performance air filters are constructed using full 360 degree polyurethane frames. This construction is very rigid and allows for a proper OE style fit with excellent filter strength.

Pro DRY S Filter Media:
This filter features three layers of oil-free synthetic media and requires no oil during maintenance to provide maximum convenience. Its progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity. This media is best suited for street use. Pro DRY S filters are easily recharged with aFe’s POWER CLEANER.
