Built from full 304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent piping, this muffler-less, muffler-delete axle-back design is finished with dual 4.5-inch double wall polished tips for a bold, aggressive look and sound.
This Mishimoto exhaust is designed to unleash the tone hiding behind your Mustang GT’s stock piping. Because it’s a muffler-less axle-back system, it maximizes exhaust tone under both light cruising and heavy acceleration, giving your Coyote-powered Mustang a noticeably more aggressive racing exhaust note. The 2.5-inch main piping mates easily to the factory exhaust and remains fully compatible with the stock center resonator, a Mishimoto X-Pipe or H-Pipe, or other aftermarket mid-pipes, so you can build out your exhaust system in stages. Every joint is TIG welded, the tips use a slip-fit, angle-cut, round polished design, and flat band clamps are included to secure the connection. Because this is an axle-back system installed downstream of the rear axle, it does not include or interact with any emissions-related components.
