Description

The Mishimoto MMBCC-STNGR-18PBE is a direct-fit, baffled oil catch can kit built specifically for the 2018+ Kia Stinger GT and its direct-injected, twin-turbocharged 3.3L V6. At the heart of the kit is a compact, patented two-port billet aluminum catch can that installs in line with the factory PCV system, positioned on the PCV side of the crankcase to intercept oil and fuel vapor before it ever reaches the intake tract.

Direct injection combined with turbocharging is notorious for accelerating carbon buildup on intake valves, and this Mishimoto catch can kit is designed to fight that problem at the source. Rather than heating the can and draining blow-by back into the oil pan like many air-oil separator systems, Mishimoto’s design keeps the can unheated so oil vapor, fuel vapor, and condensation collect and stay trapped permanently, away from the engine’s internals. A 50-micron bronze filter adds an extra layer of defense against blow-by particles, while an internal air diverter turbulates incoming air longer to improve oil separation before it exits the outlet port. For owners focused on protecting the parts of a car engine that see the most wear from blow-by, this catch can helps defend the intake system and essential engine parts while helping maintain proper octane levels to reduce potential detonation.

Vehicle Applications

This Mishimoto catch can kit is a direct fit for the 2018-2021 Kia Stinger GT, GT Limited, GT1, and GT2 trims, as well as the 2019 Kia Stinger GTS. The application-specific mounting bracket positions the can in a serviceable location that stays clear of most intake and supercharger kits, making it a practical addition for Stinger owners looking to protect their car engine over the long term.
