Built from the lessons learned during development of Mishimoto’s earlier 2009-2018 Ram 1500 5.7L V8 baffled oil catch can kit, this system tackles the heavy blow-by that this Hemi V8 is known to produce. A single 7.5 oz billet aluminum can mounts inline with the stock PCV system to intercept crankcase gases before they ever reach your intake.
Blow-by carries oil, fuel, and water vapor that coat intake components and degrade fuel quality, and over time that buildup can lead to misfires and damaged sensors. This catch can kit addresses that problem directly: incoming crankcase gases are slowed and disrupted by internal air turbulators, a perforated baffle then acts as a condensing point that keeps liquid from exiting the can, and a 50-micron sintered bronze filter strips out any remaining particles before clean air is returned to the intake. The internal air diverter increases turbulence to improve oil separation and helps maintain proper octane levels, reducing the potential for detonation while keeping your 5.7L Hemi’s engine parts running cleaner and more efficiently.
