Where the factory hot-side pipe uses numerous restrictive bends and chokes the engine with narrow 2.5-inch piping, this Mishimoto pipe steps up to a full 3 inches in diameter, mandrel-bent from aluminum and finished with a fully polished exterior made in the USA.
As a forced induction system upgrade, this kit is engineered to improve the efficiency of your engine’s induction system by opening up the path between the turbo and intercooler. The larger 3-inch diameter reduces flow restriction compared to the factory piping, which Mishimoto states results in more power and lower EGTs. Every kit pairs the polished aluminum pipe with Mishimoto silicone boots built with DuraCore technology, a synthetic inner layer that Mishimoto says offers superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil compared to normal silicone, helping prevent leaks and blowouts over time.
