Rather than keeping the factory tube-and-fin core low in the bumper, Mishimoto relocated this bar-and-plate intercooler to the upper grille, giving it a 3.1-inch-thick core with precision TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks that stand up to heat, pressure, and trail debris far better than the stock unit.
