Description

The Mishimoto MMIG-LSRD-07 is a single coil-on-plug (COP) ignition coil engineered as a direct-fit replacement for GM’s LS2, LS3, LS4, LS7, and LS9 engines. It’s built with a phenolic resin outer shell and is designed as a drop-in replacement for factory part numbers 12573190, 12699382, and D514A.

Fuel, air, compression, and spark are the basic requirements of a properly running engine, and before chasing more power from an LS platform it pays to make sure each of those systems is doing its job. A weak spark from a tired ignition coil can cause misfiring, rough idling, poor gas mileage, and even damage to the catalytic converter over time. This Mishimoto ignition coil is designed and tested to meet or exceed OEM GM performance specifications, refreshing the ignition system to deliver a strong, consistent spark on both stock and modified vehicles. It’s part of the Mishimoto ignition coils lineup, available as this single unit or in a set of 8, and is intended to improve engine startup, idle quality, and overall running performance while standing up to the high underhood temperatures LS engines generate.
