Description

The Mishimoto MMINT-CAM4-16 is a direct-fit performance intercooler purpose-built for the LTG-powered Chevrolet Camaro 2.0T and Cadillac ATS 2.0T, replacing the factory unit with a bar-and-plate aluminum core that delivers a 78-percent increase in core size, a 45-percent increase in internal volume, and a 239-percent increase in external fin surface area over stock. Engineered and tested to combat heat-soak as effectively as a front-mount design, it bolts in using all factory equipment with no cutting or modification required.

As a forced induction upgrade, this intercooler is built to keep intake air temperatures in check as boost and airflow demands increase, making it an ideal supporting piece for other bolt-on modifications like an intake or an upgraded turbocharger. Mishimoto’s testing showed maximum temperature drops of 25°F compared to the stock intercooler when using factory charge pipes, along with a measured 15 hp and 12 ft-lbs of torque gain, turning heat management into real, bolt-on performance for this induction system. A 2-in thick core design, cast end tanks with an internal air diverter, and CNC-machined quick-disconnect fittings that mate to the stock intercooler pipes all work together to keep airflow efficient through the forced induction path.
