Mishimoto’s engineers designed the largest oil cooler they offer for this platform, mounting it directly to the front of the vehicle for maximum airflow, and paired it with an application-specific mounting bracket that doubles as an air diversion panel.
This Mishimoto oil cooler kit is built to keep engine oil temperatures in check without adding unnecessary complexity to your Mustang GT’s cooling system. The bar-and-plate oil cooler is finished in anodized black and mounts in the upper grille, freeing up space for aftermarket supercharger heat exchangers, while pre-made stainless steel braided lines with -10AN fittings simplify installation and provide a secure conduit between the cooler and engine. A billet aluminum thermostatic oil sandwich plate is included to protect against overcooling, and the kit even increases oil capacity by 1 quart.
