Description
The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler (MMINT-BR-21SL) is a direct-fit, bar-and-plate intercooler engineered specifically for the 2021+ Ford Bronco equipped with the 2.3L or 2.7L EcoBoost engine. Built around a 4.7-inch thick core with CNC-machined 6061 aluminum flanges and precision TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks, this forced induction upgrade is designed to outlast and outperform the factory tube-and-fin intercooler and its plastic end tanks.
As part of Mishimoto’s Forced Induction lineup, this intercooler upgrade delivers a 77-percent increase in core volume and a 175-percent increase in fin surface area over the stock unit, giving your Bronco’s induction system more capacity to shed heat under load. On the 2.3L EcoBoost, testing showed a 7-percent increase in flow and a 21.2-degree reduction in outlet temperature versus stock, while the 2.7L EcoBoost saw a 15.8-degree reduction in outlet temperature; dyno-proven gains reached 5.7 whp and 5.3 lb-ft of torque on the 2.3L and 6.5 whp and 6.5 lb-ft on the 2.7L. In trail simulation heat-soak testing, outlet temperatures stayed 20 degrees cooler than stock after six back-to-back dyno runs, proving this performance induction system holds up whether you’re crawling rocks or sitting in traffic. Despite the performance-focused core, the intercooler retains full functionality of adaptive cruise control and 360 cameras.
