How It Works
The S-FLO Carbon Intake is comprised of three primary components working together. First, the washable, reusable S-FLO cotton filter in signature neon yellow captures airflow while remaining serviceable for the long haul. Second, AWE’s high-flow, 4-ply Nomex®, fluorosilicone-lined, steel wire reinforced silicon air tube channels air smoothly and durably. Third, the 2×2 twill carbon fiber cover fully encloses the system.
Because the intake is fully enclosed, ambient ram-air is drawn into the inlet and fed beneath the S-FLO’s carbon cover, keeping it cool compared to an open-element configuration that’s susceptible to hot engine bay temperatures.
