Engineered as the AirGate Edition, this Engine Cold Air Intake replaces the restrictive factory setup with a genuine 2×2 carbon fiber airbox built to unlock more airflow, a more aggressive intake note, and an intoxicating turbo spool from a component that looks as purposeful as it performs. It mounts securely to the stock location and integrates with the factory ducting perfectly via the AirGate’s floating airbox inlet, giving you a clean, precise fit without guesswork.
Lidless or Lidded — Your Choice
The AirGate™ design gives you options for how much you want to hear and how much volume you want under boost. Want to hear more turbo induction sounds from within the cabin? Go lidless. Prefer to keep things a bit more stealthy? Simply bolt the AirGate™ lid in place with a few turns of two easily-accessible hex screws. Either way, you’re in control of the character of your intake.
Materials & Construction
Constructed of genuine 2×2 carbon fiber finished with a UV-stabilized resin and clear coat, the AirGate™ Carbon Intake is designed to hold its deep, glossy weave and resist fading over time. It is assembled in the USA and ships with all necessary hardware included, so you have what you need to complete the install and dial in your preferred lidded or lidless configuration.
The S-FLO Filter
The included AWE S-FLO Filter is designed specifically for this airbox to be easily serviceable and to maximize airflow. That increase in airflow unlocked maximum gains of 12 hp and 9 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The combination of the carbon fiber airbox and the S-FLO Filter is what delivers the more aggressive intake note and that addictive turbo spool sound enthusiasts chase.
