Overview
The AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust for the 2013–2018 Audi S6 (4.0) is a cat-back exhaust system built for drivers who want the loudest, most committed voice out of their 4.0T. It takes the engineered design of the Touring Edition and replaces the AWE 180 Technology® resonators with straight pipe sections, delivering an even bigger dose of 4.0T attitude. This is a performance exhaust that’s known to get rowdy in the mid-range — and by design, it may be a bit much for many. Because this Track Edition is all about commitment, it cannot be returned due to sound.
If you later change your mind, the good news is that the Track Edition can be converted to a Touring Edition (or vice versa), giving you a path to dial the character in or out down the road.
Key Benefits
Every AWE cat-back exhaust system is constructed from T304L stainless steel for lasting durability and corrosion resistance, then finished with AWE’s quad slash-cut 102mm tips. These 4-inch tips carry a Diamond Black finish, include the AWE logo, and use double walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. Each of the four tips is individually adjustable, letting you set the depth into the bumper according to personal taste for a truly custom fit.
This is a valveless design (Valves: No). When the factory exhaust valves are removed, the ECU stores what’s known as a ‘soft code.’ While that code isn’t harmful, you don’t have to live with it — the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators (sold separately) plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves and prevent any code from ever being stored. AWE backs the car exhaust with a Fit Guarantee and a No CEL Guarantee, and this system requires no tune to run.
