Built around a bar-and-plate aluminum core with cast aluminum end tanks, this kit delivers a 101-percent increase in core volume and a core that is 73-percent thicker than the factory unit, giving your Duramax LML the airflow capacity it needs to keep air-charge temperatures in check at any power level.

As a complete forced induction system upgrade, this Mishimoto intercooler kit pairs the larger core with mandrel-bent, polished aluminum piping—3.5-inch on the cold side and 3.0-inch on the hot side—that eliminates the restrictive bends found in the factory induction system. An air diverter built into the hot-side end tank reduces turbulence and evenly distributes airflow across the core, while the redesigned piping offers 42-percent more internal volume than the factory intercooler piping.
