The Mishimoto MMINT-ACRD-18BK is a direct bolt-on, black powder-coated intercooler engineered specifically for the tenth-generation Honda Accord’s turbocharged 1.5T and 2.0T engines, as well as the Acura RDX’s 2.0L turbo. Built around a strategically designed bar-and-plate core mated to cast-aluminum end tanks, this Mishimoto forced induction upgrade was created because Mishimoto’s engineers found the factory intercooler prone to heat soak once additional power modifications were introduced.

As a Forced Induction category product, this intercooler exists to solve one problem: keeping compressed intake air cool under sustained boost. The larger core volume and improved frontal surface area of this induction system component translate directly into measurable results. On a stock 2.0T, Mishimoto’s dyno testing recorded gains of 13whp and 14ft-lbs, and with a cat-less turboback exhaust, Mishimoto Performance Intake, and 93 octane ECU tune added, gains climbed to 22whp and 29ft-lbs. This Mishimoto intercooler is a specific-fit part designed to bolt directly to the factory piping on the 2018-2022 Honda Accord equipped with either the 1.5L L4 or 2.0L L4 turbocharged engine (engine codes L15BG, L15BE, LFA1, and LFB1; chassis codes CV1 and CV2). It also fits the 2019-2022 Acura RDX with its 2.0L L4 engine, sharing the same core, end tank design, and factory-piping compatibility across both platforms.
