The AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust System Kit for the 2010–2016 Audi S4 (Sedan, 3.0, AWD) is a purpose-built cat back exhaust system engineered for owners who want a genuinely aggressive voice from their 3.0-liter. As the lower-priced sibling of AWE’s renowned Touring Edition, the Track Edition is crafted in house from the same quality T304L stainless steel and delivers the same power gains — the key difference is the removal of AWE’s sound-cancelling 180 Technology™ rear mufflers. The result is a louder, more assertive tone that transforms the character of the car.
Warning — this thing gets rowdy. With the rear mufflers removed, this performance exhaust produces a noticeably louder tone in the mid range. S-Tronic owners should take note: the system will be especially loud at part throttle. Because of the muffler-delete design, this catback exhaust cannot be returned due to sound, so choose it knowing you want volume and attitude.

Downpipe Options
To dial in your setup, AWE offers Resonated and Non-Resonated Downpipes, sold separately. The Resonated Downpipes feature resonators larger than the stock units for a more mellow sound volume, while the Non-Resonated Downpipes are built for owners seeking the loudest AWE has to offer in the S4 lineup. Both use larger-than-stock tubing diameter. Note that in limited cases the factory downpipes have been known to emit minor rattling noises when paired with the AWE S4 exhaust system; that possibility is eliminated when paired with AWE’s downpipes.
