The AWE Tuning ColdFront™ Coolant Pump is the final member of the ColdFront™ family, engineered to replace the factory heat exchanger pump on your Audi 3.0T and deliver a serious upgrade in cooling performance. Manufactured by the cooling-system wizards at Meziere Enterprises — a team with nearly three decades of experience engineering and building performance cooling components — this intercooler water pump is designed to move more coolant, more efficiently, keeping intake air temperatures in check when you demand the most from your engine.
Replacing the stock unit, the ColdFront™ pump out-performs it to the tune of an impressive 100% gain in flow-rate over the factory pump. During excessive dynamometer torture testing on AWE’s in-house 3.0T, an additional 8% decrease in intake air temperatures was recorded when the pump was combined with the ColdFront™ Heat Exchanger and ColdFront™ Reservoir. System Requirements
The ColdFront™ Coolant Pump may be used in conjunction with the stock heat exchanger, giving you flexibility in how you build out your cooling upgrade. However, it cannot be used without the ColdFront™ Reservoir, so plan your ColdFront™ setup accordingly to unlock the full benefit of this bosch-caliber intercooler pump upgrade path. For the best possible results, combine it with the ColdFront™ Heat Exchanger and Reservoir to realize the tested reduction in intake air temperatures.
