The Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back Exhaust System is engineered to wake up the power and performance of your 4.7L or 5.7L Hemi-powered 2009-2024* (classic body) RAM 1500. Part of Flowmaster’s respected American Thunder series, this cat-back upgrade replaces restrictive factory piping with free-flowing tubing and a purpose-built performance muffler, delivering a stronger, more assertive character to your truck both under the hood and out the tailpipes.
At the heart of the system is a 50 Series HD performance muffler, configured with a single 3.00-inch inlet and dual outlets. This proven design keeps drone to a minimum inside the cab while producing a moderately aggressive exterior tone — the kind of sound that lets everyone know your Hemi means business without wearing you out on long drives.
Built to Perform
Every component is fully constructed from 16-gauge mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing. Mandrel bending preserves a smooth, consistent diameter through every curve to promote optimal exhaust flow, while the stainless construction stands up to heat and the elements for the long haul. The system flows into dual 2.50-inch mandrel-bent tailpipes finished with a pair of large 3.00-inch diameter polished stainless steel tips for a clean, finished appearance.

This custom system gives you two exit configurations to match how you use your RAM 1500. Opt for the dual side exit that routes behind the rear wheels — an ideal choice for towing — or select the straight-out-the-back configuration that exits under the rear bumper for a muscular, purposeful look.
