Description
The Mishimoto MMINT-F2D-11SL is a direct-fit air-to-water intercooler built for the 2011-2016 Ford Super Duty 6.7L Powerstroke, replacing the factory stamped-and-stacked-plate cooler with a bar-and-plate core and cast aluminum end tanks that are precision TIG welded in place. Mishimoto developed this forced induction upgrade after learning that factory 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercoolers were prone to internal leaks, and the result is a Micro-Wrinkle Silver finished cooler that also flowed 22-percent better than the stock unit on Mishimoto’s flow bench.
Because it moves more air through the 6.7L Powerstroke’s induction system, this performance induction intercooler gave Mishimoto’s stock test truck 40 lb-ft more torque on the dyno without any other modifications or a tune. The cast end tanks reduce the potential failure points found in cut-and-welded stock tanks, while the bar-and-plate core construction is built for efficient cooling and strength. As a forced induction system component engineered specifically for the 6.7L Powerstroke, it installs on a completely stock or modified truck and is backed by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
