Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a twist-off, anodized-finish body, this catch can pairs a 5.3 fl. oz. capacity bottom with a CNC-machined lid featuring large M27 x 2.0 inlets and outlets so your crankcase can breathe under load.
High-output diesel engines produce a lot of blow-by, and left unmanaged, that mix of harmful oil, fuel, and water vapor from automobile combustion can find its way back into the intake. As one of the more overlooked engine components in the crankcase ventilation system, a properly designed catch can protects the more sensitive car engine parts downstream. Inside this can, a CNC-machined baffle with an integrated filter captures those vapors while letting clean crankcase gases pass through, and because both the filter and the can are fully serviceable, draining and cleaning are quick jobs rather than a full teardown of parts of a car engine.
