Description

The Mishimoto MMBCC-STNGR-22PBE is a direct-fit catch can kit engineered specifically for the 2022+ Kia Stinger GT, tapping into the factory PCV system to intercept oil and fuel vapor before it can foul the intake. Built around a patent-pending compact 2-port catch can (Patent No. US D884,760), this kit is purpose-made for Kia’s 3.3L twin-turbocharged, direct-injection V6, a combination the manufacturer notes creates a hotbed for carbon buildup.

As direct injection and turbocharging push crankcase pressure and blow-by higher, quality car engine parts like this catch can help protect the components of an automobile engine from oil contamination and lost octane. Unlike heated air-oil-separator systems that drain condensed blow-by back into the oil pan, Mishimoto’s catch can traps oil vapor, fuel vapor, and blow-by particles permanently rather than recirculating them, helping maintain proper octane levels and reduce the risk of detonation. An internal air diverter turbulates incoming air longer to improve oil separation, while a 50-micron bronze filter captures rogue blow-by particles as an added layer of defense for parts of a car engine downstream.

This kit is a direct fit for the 2022 Kia Stinger GT, along with the 2022 Kia Stinger GT Elite, GT Limited, GT1, and GT2 trims. No other years or trims are covered by this application-specific bracket and hose kit.
