It pairs an aluminum intake pipe with a CNC-machined MAF adapter, a large high-flow oiled air filter, and a powder-coated heat shield to deliver more power along with an aggressive, deep-sounding intake tone.
As a purpose-built air intake system, this kit exists to solve the two biggest limitations of the factory 350Z airbox: restricted airflow and heat-soaked intake air. The included high-flow air filter features an integrated venturi and center inlet stack for smooth, high-velocity airflow, and its large surface area is 271-percent greater than the stock filter, allowing it to pull in more air while still filtering out dirt and debris. To keep intake air temperatures down, a black powder-coated aluminum heat shield sits between the filter and the hot exhaust manifold, bolting directly to the stock inlet duct on the front support to draw cooler outside air into the filter. Protective rubber strips fully seal the heat shield against engine bay heat and prevent vibration-induced noise.
