The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler (MMINT-TAC-24BK) is purpose-built for the 2024+ Toyota Tacoma’s turbocharged T24A-FTS engine, replacing the factory tube-and-fin cooler with a 55% larger bar-and-plate core designed to keep this forced induction platform running cool under sustained load. Finished in a stealth black powder coat, this specific-fit unit is engineered to hold charge air temperatures steady through repeated wide-open-throttle pulls, towing grades, and extended off-road runs where the stock intercooler falls behind.

As the turbocharger compresses intake air, heat builds quickly in the charge piping, and a factory forced induction system with limited core capacity can only dissipate so much of it before power starts to fade. Mishimoto’s performance induction upgrade addresses that heat soak directly: the bar-and-plate core cuts intake air temperatures by up to 36°F at wide-open throttle and produces 30% lower pressure drop than the OEM unit, easing strain on the turbocharger and helping the induction system maintain consistent boost efficiency run after run. Cast end tanks and billet aluminum ORB ports deliver leak-free sensor connections, while OEM-matched mounting bushings and an included crush washer keep the unit secure through vibration and trail abuse. Installation on the Land Cruiser LC250 may require removal of a bracket on top of the AC condenser.
