AWE Tuning Track Edition Cat-Back for the B8 Audi S5 3.0T
Built for the driver who wants a genuinely aggressive voice from their 2012–2017 Audi S5 (Coupe, 3.0T), the AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust System Kit is the lower-priced sibling of AWE’s renowned Touring Edition. It is crafted in-house from the same quality T304L stainless steel and delivers the same power gains — the key difference is the removal of AWE’s sound-cancelling 180 Technology™ rear-mufflers, which are found on the Touring Edition. The result is a bolder, more purposeful car exhaust note that lets the 3.0T sing.
Fair warning: this thing gets rowdy. The Track Edition produces a noticeably louder tone in the mid-range, and S-Tronic owners should take note that the system is especially loud at part throttle. Because the rear-mufflers have been removed, this system cannot be returned due to sound — so choose it knowing you want the volume. Tips & Downpipe Options
The system finishes with a quad-tip layout — four 4" tips in a striking Chrome Silver finish — to give the rear of your S5 an unmistakable performance look to match its sound. Downpipes are sold separately: AWE offers Resonated Downpipes, featuring resonators larger than the stock units for a more mellow sound volume, and Non-Resonated Downpipes for owners seeking the loudest AWE has to offer. Both feature larger-than-stock tubing diameter. Note that in limited cases the factory downpipes have been known to emit minor rattling when paired with the AWE S4 exhaust system; pairing AWE’s downpipes eliminates that possibility.
