Description

The Mishimoto MMINT-F2D-17SL is a purpose-built forced induction intercooler engineered specifically for the 2017+ Ford Super Duty 6.7L Powerstroke, replacing the factory stamped-and-stacked-plate design with cast aluminum end tanks precision TIG welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. Mishimoto developed this intercooler after learning that factory 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercoolers were prone to internal leaks, so the goal here was durability first: fewer failure points, stronger construction, and real performance gains.

As a forced induction upgrade, this intercooler is designed to move more air through the induction system than the stock unit, and Mishimoto reports 22-percent greater airflow along with dyno-proven torque gains of 40 lb-ft without any other modifications. Because it requires no tune, this performance induction component can be installed on a completely stock truck or one that has already been modified. The cast end tanks are more durable than brazed or welded tanks, reducing the leak points common to factory units, while the bar-and-plate core is built for efficient cooling and strength. A Mishimoto mandrel-bent aluminum cold-side pipe, silicone boots with DuraCore technology, and constant-tension worm gear clamps round out a complete, direct-fit forced induction system for the 6.7L Powerstroke.
